Guerrilla Gorilla

I resort to lists too often. Today is my first day in the house by myself for the full day, as DH started his new job this past Friday (and #2 is half days on Monday and I work on Tuesdays). I made a big list and only have one significant entry left to accomplish. Yay me! Yay lists!

Still, there are always more brief disjointed comments I can jot down about what’s going on with me:

#1: “Mommy, pretend I’m an engineer and I’m building this Transformer into a robot.”

#2: “Mommy! Pretend I’m an engineer! And I’m building buttons that glow-up in the dark!”

#1: [scoffs]That’s not an engineer. An engineer builds important things.”

#2: “It is an engineer. I build buttons. And they’re important!

Never A Waste Of Time

Things have been in a state of flux here — a bit of change in our lives that, thus far anyway, seems positive and exciting. Dh has already had a bunch of interviews and one solid offer, but is still at home with us for now; we’ve begun working on a combined website, pooling our hobbies and habits; the boys have been enjoying their March Break; and I’ve started working.

Stupid Hormones

I will be glad when my hormones settle down again. I’m crying over everything. Of course, some might argue I have stuff to cry about but this really isn’t normal for me even when I’m upset. I cry when I’m *really* upset, but not on the phone with the pharmicist or when I’m buying groceries. This is stupid. I hate feeling perpetually weepy–it’s one of those “girly” things with which I’m really uncomfortable. Boo hiss.
